Making Room
The production of CTS’s next generation of repairs required a major expansion to the existing mechanical assembly shop in Houston, Texas. The scope of work included the construction of a new 10,000 square-foot shop extension with a dedicated turbine trip testing area, double the rotor department capacity, a designated S&K and Gimpel trip and throttle test area, and twice as many active job work stations.
